Distro Talk: Breaking into the International and Arab Indie Film scene

Our first “Distro Talk” dives into the international and Arab independent film scene, featuring Sales & Acquisitions executive Sarah Hindi.

Join us for our first Distro Talk, a new VC workshop series that takes us around the world to hear from diverse distribution and marketing executives about strategies, new findings, and insights on how to most effectively bring one’s film to life.

For this first episode, Sarah Hindi, who works in Sales & Acquisitions at international distributor MC Distribution, will dive into the economics of the film industry from an Arab perspective, and break down an independent film’s various life stages after completion. Sarah will also cover the role of international distributors, sales agents, and exhibitors, while tackling marketing and communication strategies, negotiations, contracts, and distribution terminologies and lingo that you need to know.

The perspective of this Distro Talk is worldwide, with a focus on the Arab world.
