Eligible Video Consortium members are actively working in video journalism, documentary film, or nonfiction content creation. From cinematographers to directors to sound mixers and beyond, we welcome nonfiction storytellers with a diverse skillset.
If commercial work is your primary focus, that’s ok—as long as you have nonfiction experience and credits. Most importantly, eligible members have a passion for impactful storytelling, and for making the media industry a more collaborative and welcoming place for all.
Organizational and newsroom staff working in video and multimedia are welcome to join VC o enhance their connections and skills with a likeminded community.

Eligible student members are studying or recent graduates of nonfiction-focused visual communications programs. You must have at least one sample of nonfiction video work or a robust bio detailing your goals in nonfiction media.
