Rolling Deadlines:

  • The Black Artists Grant (BAG) is a £500 no-strings financial support to help UK-based Black creatives. Whether you’re in need of new equipment or to fund your latest project, learn more and apply here. Instagram: @creativedebuts

  • The Bagri Foundation provides support, in the form of grants, towards artistic and educational projects. Promotion of arts and culture of all Asia and the diasporas, grants range from £5,000 – £150,000 and are awarded in two rounds per year. Find out more here. Instagram: @bagrifoundation


Upcoming Deadlines:

  • November 20: The Pretty Wild Fellowship provides four filmmakers or filmmaking teams with a $50,000 unrestricted grant + 2 creative retreats + mentorship for their short documentary. Apply here.

  • November 24: Sunny Side of the Doc Global Pitch 2024 is dedicated to documentaries willing to shake things up in order to map a more sustainable world! Learn more here. Instagram: @sunnysidedoc

  • November 27: Pacific Islanders in Communications is calling on non-fiction filmmakers to apply for the media fund. If you are working on a project that offers a fresh perspective of the indigenous Pacific Islander experience, get applying now. Instagram: @picpacific

  • December 8: Become a Rowhome Fellow! This paid, 6-month fellowship with Rowhome Productions is for a Philly-based person looking to level up their audio storytelling & podcast production career. Instagram: @rowhomeproductions

  • December 8: Are you a filmmaker born and based in Latin America who’s committed to positive change through solutions-based storytelling? The Video Consortium is selecting sixteen regional filmmakers to pair with sixteen social innovators in Latin America, as part of Solutions Storytelling Project: Latin America. Find out more here.

  • December 13: The NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowship is seeking filmmakers living in New York State and/or one of the Indian Nations to fund an artist’s vision or voice, at all levels of their artistic development. Learn more here. Instagram: @nyfacurrent

  • January 5: Hot Docs-Blue Ice Docs Fund (HDBID) is a fund for filmmakers who live and work on the African continent. The Fund offers grants in Development and Production for feature or broadcast-length documentaries. Click here to find out more.
