"The Playback," from the Video Consortium, is a behind-the-scenes peek in which nonfiction filmmakers describe their creative process as we see it unfold. Produced by VC members Horatio Baltz and Cody Ball.

Every year, thousands of quilt lovers descend on Paducah, Kentucky to attend the town's annual quilt competition. Director Olivia Merrion describes how she discovered the "Olympics of Quilting" and the inspiration she found in her subjects.
