About

Will is a writer, translator, and documentary filmmaker from Baltimore. In 2020, he created an oral history project to collect the life stories of LGBTQ people in Montana. He has also interviewed slaughterhouse workers in Tar Heel, North Carolina about their successful fight to form a union. He spent the last five years living in Montana, where he made experimental documentary shorts about local history and his friends. He also worked as a production assistant on three fiction films. For seven years, he has taught English, poetry, and film at the high school and college levels. He received a BA in English from Brown University in 2015 and an MFA in poetry from the University of Montana in 2020.

The Video Consortium is a global nonprofit media organization that supports the world’s nonfiction filmmakers and video journalists to tell bold stories that change the world.
