Sara is a cinematographer with over a decade of experience. She's known for an emotionally resonant poetic realism, and has done work for National Geographic, HBO, Vice, Channel4, and Disney on issues such as political conflict, women's rights, wildlife conservation, gender identity, and the intersection of art and technology. She's attracted to stories about marginalized cultures and visionary outsiders. Recent work includes the Emmy nominated season two of The World According to Jeff Goldblum. She is currently shooting a feature doc for HBO about transgender activists.
