In work for BBC, Semafor, NowThis, Insider, MIC, South China Morning Post and others, Laura has reported across the US and internationally, particularly in Southeast Asia and Ukraine. Her work includes award-winning on the ground coverage from Janaury 6 and immersive investigative pieces shot in Vietnam in Cambodia. She was based in Ukraine in 2019 and 2020, where she was a News Editor at the Kyiv Post. Laura graduated from Columbia's Graduate School of Journalism in 2016 with an emphasis in investigative and documentary reporting.
