About

Krista is a former educator turned documentary filmmaker, with a background in Montessori. She has a documentary certificate from SF Film School (2016) and was a BAVC/TechSF Preditor (2018). Her doc Child, Disrupted (www.childdisrupted.com) won Best Doc Short at the California Independent Film Festival and the Montecatini Short Film Festival in 2018. It will be playing at both the Sedona and Pasadena International Film Festivals in the coming months, in addition to several smaller festivals.
