About

Konstantinos Kambouroglou is a New York-based independent filmmaker and media producer and the founder of Gouse Films, a digital storytelling company. Since the mid-90s, he has created content articulating the vision of educators, activists, lawyers, artists, religious institutions, financial consultants, athletes, policy makers, and global event organizers. Before establishing his own production outfit, Konstantinos was in-house filmmaker at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft, a New York-based international law firm, where he spearheaded the introduction of digital video into the firm's communications. While at Cadwalader, he was instrumental in the creation of VS Confronts, a video-based, pro bono unit fostering communication among those who battle human trafficking in the United States. His short documentary, To Build Strong Children, about human trafficking and education, was an official selection at the Sacramento International Film Festival in 2014 and, in 2017, was broadcast by PBS (WHUT-TV)) in the Washington, DC area. His 2017 feature-length documentary, How to Steal a Chair, is a meditation on design, passion, and lost dreams. It has enjoyed international success, screening at film festivals, museums, and higher learning institutions. Konstantinos holds a Masters in Journalism from Columbia University.
