About

Born and raised in Slovakia, a small land-locked former sattelite of the Soviet Union, I developed an appreciation for film in college - while studying European Studies (a blend of political science and international relations) in Bratislava. As a result I switched careers and studied for a year at New York Film Academy in New York, which led me to film festival stints at Tribeca Film Festival, Human Rights Watch FF and the Hamptons IFF. Between 2014 and 2023 I was busy back in Slovakia as a writer of non-scripted television, and a mother of two boys. I am excited to re-join the film community in New York now, as a fresh immigrant and permanent resident.
