About

Julia Reagan Dubray is a documentary filmmaker who has collaborated on films and television for Netflix, Hulu, National Geographic & CNN Films, among others. Her most recent documentary, produced by Culture House, is currently in post production. She is also currently developing multiple projects with Time Studios. More new work includes directing Enid & Mami, which won the Jury Prize at BIFF in 2020 for Best Short Documentary, the Best Documentary award at the International Puerto Rican Heritage Festival; branded content documentaries for clients of agencies Godfrey Dadich & Radical Media; co-directing/producing for the Hulu series Taste the Nation, producing & 2U directing on Netflix’s ABSTRACT: The Art of Design; as well as directing multiple projects for National Geographic over the years. Originally from Los Angeles, she’s lived in New York City for fourteen years. She filmed her first documentary in 2007 while living in Buenos Aires and working as a bilingual journalist (and waitress).
