Emily is a documentary photographer and filmmaker based in NYC. Bilingual English/Spanish, she has spent most of the last four years in Mexico, covering social movements and the impact of Drug War violence. Her first short film, on the disappearance of 43 students in Mexico, was commissioned by Field of Vision and won the MOWFF Grand Prize for Emerging Filmmaker. Her work has been published in The New York Times, The Atlantic, Huck Magazine and El Faro.
