Courtney is deeply focused on the power of the individual voice. She produces and directs personal stories with a creative, stylized approach. With almost 10 years creating intimate, non-fiction narratives- she uses her work to help inspire empathy and raise awareness. Branded content, short docu-style films and digital media has been the main focus of her artistic energy. Beginning her career in film production in Los Angeles, she had early success in the new media space with established brands- including Fortune 500 companies. A few of her pieces have been broadcast nationally or screened across multiple distribution platforms. Her work has been featured in festivals such as Tribeca, SXSW, DOCNYC, The Webbys, and more.

The Video Consortium is a global nonprofit media organization that supports the world’s nonfiction filmmakers and video journalists to tell bold stories that change the world.
