Claire Read is a New York based documentary filmmaker and producer. She produced Telemarketers, the hit 2023 HBO docuseries from executive producers the Safdie brothers and Danny McBride. She also produced The Vow (Parts I and II), an HBO docuseries from directors Jehane Noujaim and Karim Amer. Her short documentary The Pedestrian had its premiere at Rooftop Films and has gone on to play at Rockaway Film Festival, Hamptons Film Festival, Montclair Film Festival, and Anthology New Filmmakers. Previously, Claire produced the VICE docuseries, States of Undress, as well as VICE on HBO. She is a member of the Documentary Producers Alliance. Claire received a BFA from Oberlin College.
