About
Catherine Finsness was born and raised on the island of Bermuda and now lives in San Francisco. She previously worked as a marketing manager at companies such as Artsy and Bitly, before pursuing filmmaking.
She has an MFA in Social Documentary Filmmaking from The School of Visual Arts where she was awarded the competitive Paula Rhodes Award and Thesis Production Grant. Her short films have been screened at festivals such as DOC NYC festival, San Francisco International Film Festival, and SVA After School Special festival.
