Cady Voge is a freelance journalist and documentary filmmaker based between Bogotá, Colombia and the Bay Area.
Based primarily in Colombia since 2015, Cady is a filmmaker and journalist specializing in character-driven and vérité storytelling, covering immigration across the Americas. Cady is an International Women’s Media Foundation fellow and grantee, and was selected to participate in UNHCR's master class for journalists on forced displacement in Central America, which she completed in early 2020. She contributes to outlets including The BBC, The Guardian, Al Jazeera and Wired. Cady met the subjects of her forthcoming debut feature film while covering the 2018 migrant caravan. Before becoming a full-time story-teller, Cady directed One World Youth Project, an international education nonprofit.
