About

Sofia ("Sofika") is a Ukrainian-American filmmaker based in Brooklyn, NY. Most recently, Sofika worked as a Post-Production Coordinator on shows like ShowTime's Murder in Big Horn and Hulu's Taste the Nation with Padma Lakshmi, Season 2. Previously, she interned on PBS's hit show, Finding Your Roots and volunteered on the Ukrainian-Slovak border. Sofika recently graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Communication and a minor in Cinema Studies. Outside of filmmaking, Sofika can be found dancing salsa, playing volleyball, or falling down a YouTube rabbit hole.
