About

Sarah Fahmy is a reporter, producer, and documentary filmmaker. Half-Egyptian and half-American, she is passionate about environmental and social justice issues. She has worked in a variety of roles on a dozens of film projects including documentaries for national broadcast and interpretive films for museums and visitor centers. She has traveled and reported around the world and has worked with the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting, the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, and Oregon Public Broadcasting.

The Video Consortium is a global nonprofit media organization that supports the world’s nonfiction filmmakers and video journalists to tell bold stories that change the world.
