I am a trilingual Visual Journalist, DOP, and Producer based in London (ENG, FRA, ITA). I cover the UK and Europe but occasionally I travel to subsaharan Africa. My work is a mix of journalism, documentary and corporate, from planning to delivery.

Maurizio Martorana is a Visual Journalist, DOP and Producer. His clients include news outlets such as Getty Images, BBC, Reuters, The Wall Street Journal, TIME, Al Jazeera, Sky News UK, Vice News UK, NRK TV, Brut Media, The New Humanitarian, RAI, LA7, organisations such as the UN, the European Union, C40 Cities, EMERGENCY, Maries Stopes International, Islamic Relief, but also brands such as Apple, Amazon, OPPO, ACCOR, Montblanc, World Rugby, Ermenegildo Zegna, YMU Group, GOAT. He holds an MA in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography from the London College of Communication. He previously studied Political Science, Sociology and Anthropology at Università degli Studi di Firenze and Université Côte d'Azur. Maurizio is a member of NUJ (National Union of Journalists) and IFJ (International Federation of Journalists); he has completed a HEAT course with SEPAR International and has also gained two qualifications from Adobe (PS & PR).

SHARM EL SHEIKH, Egypt—U.S. climate envoy John Kerry said on Tuesday that he spoke with his Chinese counterpart during the COP27 United Nations climate conference, rekindling contact between countries that are pivotal in the global effort to limit greenhouse gas emissions. “We need to be talking to each other because we’re the two biggest economies in the world and the two biggest emitters,” Mr. Kerry told The Wall Street Journal at a live event at the Egyptian seaside resort where the 27th U.N. climate gathering is taking place.
