About

Manish Khanal is a reporter, producer and documentary filmmaker based in the SF Bay Area. His work has been supported by the Miami Film Festival, Knight Foundation, IF/THEN Shorts, and Mountainfilm. He is a member of the IATSE Local 16 and holds a Master of Journalism degree from the University of California, Berkeley, where he studied documentary filmmaking. He currently resides in Oakland, California and is an Associate Producer at Citizen Film.
