Malhari strives to showcase those that make long standing change in themselves and in their communities. Past subjects include a world-record attempting paraplegic hand-cyclist, a neighborhood historian working to preserve and revitalize his Rust Belt town, and a paddle-boarder bringing inspiration and environmental stewardship to underserved youth. Their current projects include editing an oral history series on Holocaust survivor, and the story of the creation of an American high school that acted as an experiment in school desegregation.

The Video Consortium is a global nonprofit media organization that supports the world’s nonfiction filmmakers and video journalists to tell bold stories that change the world.
