Jeremiah O. Rhodes is a documentary filmmaker, cinematographer, and editor from North Carolina, currently based in Houston, TX. Jeremiah has a BA in video journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. At UNC, Jeremiah produced "Silence Sam," a short documentary about the activism centered around the removal of a Confederate Monument on UNC's campus, "Love, the Band," a short about the importance of HBCU marching bands within the Black community, and "Bitter and Sweet," a short about Indigenous Mayan chocolate production in Belize. He has worked for NPR Music and the Texas Tribune, and his work has been featured in the Raleigh News & Observer, the Washington Post, The Asheville Citizen Times, and more. His film work has screened at festivals around the country, including Indie Grits, Cucalorus, The New Orleans Film Festival, and Blackstar Film Festival.
