  • #Fellowship Are you interested in learning about video production as a profession? Bridges Fellows will receive an immersive 12-week training in workplace literacy, career readiness, and communication skills while gaining experience in video pre-production, production, and post-production. 🐤

  • April 27: #Pitch The Hollywood Climate Summit Pitchfest for Film and TV is looking for climate-related production ideas! And there’s only three days left to apply. SO, what do you have for ‘em? 🗨️🧍

  • April 28: #Grant The National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF) is offering financial support to South African filmmakers of all levels for their audiovisual productions or training costs. 📺🇿🇦 Check it out here.

  • April 29: #Grant Apply for the Roy W. Dean short film grant. Submit your cover letter, proposal, social media plan, crew information, cost estimates and sample work before the deadline closes! 🫱

  • April 30: #Mentorship The Prince Claus Fund and Goethe Institut are looking for professionals who are using cultural and artistic responses to environmental change. 👐🌍 If that’s you, then apply to their open call - because they want to offer €10.000, intensive lab training and opportunities for collaboration and guided mentorship.

  • May 1: #Award Educators and news media organizations (outlets and NGOs) are eligible to be nominated for the News/Media Literacy Award. This award honors front-line teachers in press, and winners will receive programmatic funding 🧑🏻‍🏫.

  • June 30: #Funding This is a big one, so you better start early. DRL Investigative Journalism in Europe is offering $1,500,000 to organizational projects that support regional investigative journalism in Europe, Eurasia, and Central Asia. 🌐

  • October 17 (for the Spring Semester): #Journalists Want to start early planning for your studies next year? The Kamal Adham Fellowship is partially covering tuition costs, particularly for Egyptian grads, who want to pursue a Masters in Television and Digital Journalism at the American University in Cairo.
