Logline: 15,000 women raped every year, an average of one every half hour. Goma, the main city of North Kivu in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, is infamous as "the rape capital of the world". Through the voices and faces of the victims and through the testimonies of those who offer them physical and psychological assistance, "Mwavita, Born in Time of War" wants to bring this tragedy to the fore, which is taking place far from the spotlight of the media.
