About

I'm an Israeli-Romanian, Brooklyn—Tel-Aviv-based director, writer, and editor, an alumnus of Berlinale's Talents Sarajevo and Zurich Film Festival Academy, and a member of Brooklyn Filmmakers Collective. I've just completed two short films: the documentary The Speed Of The Distance Between Us, which is an unflinching look into the lives of parents who lost a child (or two) as they journey through parenthood after loss, and the fiction short Tears Tears Only Tears that is about grief-stricken young woman and her ex-lover embark on a road trip to euthanize her beloved dog. My previous short, Gila Who Walks Alone, participated in the European Short Pitch and was selected for the GoShorts Campus. It's a French-Israeli co-production that received production grants from the CNC and The New Israeli Film Fund. It opened at the Krakow International Film Festival and screened and won accolades in other film festivals. My short Babies won the Jury Prize at the Festival International du Film d'Amiens, Mammoth Lakes International Film Festival, and Trinity International Film Festival. My previous documentaries — Beside The Point, Under it, The Birthday Party (for me), and Tales of a Ritual — have screened internationally well. I'm currently creative-producing "Don Juan And The Witches Of Westwood," the next Documentary series by director Avi Belkin, executive produced by The Duplass Brothers. I'm also co-writing Noam Murro's next feature film. I've edited Udi Aloni's latest documentary film, produced by Oren Moverman and Ms. Luryn Hill. I've also worked with the NYC-based production company Moxie Pictures and on a feature documentary produced by Pulse Films, with Laura Poitras as an executive director.
