About

I animate things that already had a life. Old magazines, vintage ads, newspapers with yellow pages, scanners, scissors, and markers make up my studio. I love looking for "juuust the right" texture, cutting things out, finding the perfect marker, and scanning them all in to make collages. These cut-outs then come alive to explain concepts, illustrate data, or support a narration. I also love water. I got my formal education on an island in Abu Dhabi, then lived around canals in Amsterdam, now I'm in a city that's literally cut in half by water: Budapest. I drink a lot of it, too. Tap, of course.
