Tyler Trumbo is a documentary filmmaker and editor born and raised along the Blue Ridge Mountains. He's currently producing stories with the MCV Foundation in Richmond, VA. His work has been supported by Southern Documentary Fund and featured on PBS, The Atlantic, and The New Yorker, and shown around the world including screenings at the Sheffield Doc/Fest, Slamdance Film Festival, and Big Sky. He holds an M.F.A. in Documentary Film and Video from Stanford University and has been an adjunct professor at Virginia Commonwealth University and Old Dominion University.
