About

I began my academic and professional career in conservation and environmental policy. After a decade in the media (print, broadcast and digital), reporting on music, cinema and popular culture, I shifted to freelance documentary work. I cover stories from the frontlines of climate change, biodiversity loss and Indigenous sovereignty, with a focus on queer and underrepresented perspectives. I utilize a fleet of wildlife cameras for collaborative research projects that integrate storytelling with data stewardship and citizen science.

The Video Consortium is a global nonprofit media organization that supports the world’s nonfiction filmmakers and video journalists to tell bold stories that change the world.
