About

Born and raised in Saint Mary's Ga, Thomas has always loved thinking outside the box and deconstructing. This led him to pursue a career in video editing by majoring in Film & TV at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). He has always been a viewer of diverse artistic mediums and an avid learner of history. This allows him to incorporate new styles, storytelling techniques, and avenues to further social justice in his work. Some have jokingly called him a sponge. During his time at school, Thomas worked remotely as an assistant editor for Fear the Sun, an Atlanta production house. In addition, he freelanced as an editor and camera operator with the local NBC affiliate (WSAV). There he edited segments for their news programming and their lifestyle show, "The Bridge". He also shot coverage and assisted in their live coverage of important events such as high school football games and the Savannah St. Patrick's Day Parade. In his last two quarters at SCAD, Thomas worked as an assistant editor for SCAD Visual Media. There he gained invaluable experience collaborating with supervisors and perfecting his organizational skills in an office environment. After school, he worked as an assistant editor and associate producer on SCAD's first documentary feature, "Letters from Andre", and would go onto work on further SCAD projects in a variety of roles.
