Nicole Ellis is a Washington, D.C. based On-Camera Reporter and Filmmaker for The Washington Post covering inspired life, social issues, and breaking news stories. She earned her undergraduate and Masters degrees from Columbia University, with honors in documentary film from Columbia Journalism School. Her first film, Blind Date, is an award winning documentary short featured in the 2016 DOC NYC film festival, among others, and recipient of the Nevada Film Festival Silver Screen Award.
