Merete Mueller is an award-winning documentary director based in New York City. Her short and feature-length films have screened at SXSW, Hot Docs, DOC NYC and The Brooklyn Museum, via Al Jazeera, the Canadian Broadcasting Channel, Netflix, The New York Times' Op-Docs series, and in The New Yorker, The Atlantic and VICE. She's known for cinematic, in-depth reporting on climate change and technology, as well as intimate stories about homes, body image, health, and belonging. Merete also directs doc-style commercials and branded projects, and has worked with a long list of production companies, agencies and clients - including Ford, Lincoln, Toyota Prius, Cadillac, Bose, Facebook, Citibank, NBC, Vox Media, Vice Media, and Conde Nast Entertainment.
