Iris Sigalit Ocampo Gil

Iris Sigalit Ocampo was born in the city of Cochabamba, Bolivia. She studied Social Communication and currently works as a producer, director and manager of various audiovisual projects with different directors and production companies at a national and international level. He has worked on different feature films, short films, spots, animations and institutional videos; in addition to being selected in different laboratories, scholarships and film training spaces at the national and Latin American level. Currently, she is executive producer of the feature films, La Hija, La Comunidad del Condenado and Diamante (assist); producer and co-director of the animated short film “Niña Semilla” (post-production); producer and director of the documentary series “Historicas” (post-production) and director of the documentary “Mujer Tierra”, her first feature film currently in production. Likewise, she is co-founder of Mujer Espiral, a group of self-organized and self-managed women who use audiovisuals and sexual education workshops.
