About

Edwin Corona Ramos is an independent director and cinematographer, based in Caracas Venezuela. As a young documentarian, he made several collaborations for news agencies and brands such as The Wall Street Journal, VOX, Newsy, Bloomberg and TIME Magazine about the crisis in Venezuela of the last years. He directed the documentary series “Photographers in Resistance” and “Nos Llaman Guerreras” (They Call Us Warriors), his debut full-length documentary, winner of the Atlanta Film Festival Special Jury Award and screened in more than 30 film festivals worldwide. He is currently working on a short about a photographer who depicts the Venezuelan crisis through his images, and the developing the documentary series TIME TO GO, about the Venezuelan diaspora, the greatest migration crisis of Latin American history.
