About

Crispin is a video journalist and documentary filmmaker based in New York who has experience in all facets of production. Crispin's most recent project, Shattered Expectations, a 30-minute documentary, took him to Houston, where he profiled the extraordinary life of Wendy Larsen, who, in the summer of 2023, became the first female hand cyclist to complete the 930-mile Race Across the West. Wendy's story is complex; she was born without a fully functioning immune system and a rare muscular disease called Ehler's Danlos syndrome. The documentary uses the six-day race as the backbone for telling the odyssey of her life.
