About

Calvin Mumm is a filmmaker born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. After spending years touring Europe as a singer for the Madeline Choir School, he found an interest in filmmaking during high school. There he would experiment and produce several films including his first documentary project, Sown, which was selected for DOC NYC in 2020. Calvin then attended Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, New York to not only further study filmmaking but literature and history as well. Throughout this time Calvin has garnered lots of experience as an editor for documentaries, podcasts, narratives, and more. From the cinematic history of Tokyo Rose to the works of Tom Stoppard to the roots of fascism in the Roman Empire, Calvin studied a number of subjects to support his curiosity as an artist and storyteller. Now graduated from college Calvin is braving the New York industry to meet new friends and make new projects.
