About

Brandon is a producer and director of photography based in the San Francisco Bay Area, on unceded Lisjan (Ohlone) lands. His work focuses on displacement, migration, queerness, and land use in the American West and Latin America. The son of immigrants, Brandon was raised in Tucson, Arizona, a border city where migration and the dispossession of O’odham lands continue to inform his work. With an eye on evolving media platforms, Brandon’s storytelling spans mediums ranging from written investigations to photo essays, interactive maps and documentary film. He holds a master’s degree in video journalism from UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism.
