Alexandra Travis is a documentary producer based in Washington, DC with an interest in sharing the oral histories of people not normally heard, while challenging herself to bring those stories to life with visuals.

Alexandra Travis is currently based in Washington, DC, where she works as a producer for Scripps News' Documentaries team. She graduated from the University of Georgia in 2019 with a degree in journalism and minors in women's studies and fashion merchandising, which both influence her storytelling. As a Black woman from the Southern United States, Alexandra strives to tell the stories of underreported communities, and she hopes people walk away from her work feeling like they know more about those communities than before.
