Emmy award-winning news and documentary producer, podcast host and environmental scientist. My work for broadcast and digital media mainly explores science, politics and human stories connected to the changing planet.


Agnes Walton is a journalist, scientist and Emmy-award-winning producer, previously at the New York Times Opinion Video and VICE News. She recently lead a year-long investigation into abuse by a for-profit foster care company and hosted the environmental true crime podcast The Crisis. She has reported extensively on the science and politics of climate change, and has a Masters in Environmental Science from the Yale School of Forestry, where she studied how to protect biodiversity (and potatoes). Agnes grew up in the Norwegian fjords.
