Academy-Award nominated Sandbox Films seeks filmmakers for upcoming "Untitled Eclipse Documentary"
My name is Sam Gilberg, I am a Producer (and proud VC member) working alongside Academy-Award nominated Sandbox Films (Fire of Love) on a feature-length documentary film about the upcoming April 8, 2024 total solar eclipse.
We’re inviting filmmakers along the eclipse’s path of totality to submit creative video footage of their experience on April 8th. Filmmakers whose clips are featured in the film will receive a licensing fee, credit in the film, and their eclipse experience immortalized on the big screen.
Rather than focusing on the eclipse itself, our film will explore the human experience of this rare celestial event, aiming to bring together diverse communities in a moment of cosmic beauty that may transcend the divisions that define our times.
