About

Knowlton is a documentary film director, cinematographer and editor who enjoys every step of the creative process and always strives to tell inspiring stories in a vibrant and unique way. His career in film began with a position working alongside Beastie Boys’ Adam Yauch as an assistant editor at Oscilloscope Films. Since then, he has honed his craft directing and editing music videos, documentaries and branded content around the world. Knowlton’s work has won several awards including the Documentary Directing Award at the Amsterdam Film Festival, and been nominated for AICP and Webby Awards. He currently resides in Atlanta, GA, creating content with his company, OPPOSIT.
