About

Fresh out of college with a fine art degree, Mallory had no idea what they were doing and did freelance work to survive. They were roped into the journalism industry when they accidentally applied to a newspaper job because it had 'media' in the name. After a few years at The Sydney Morning Herald, they moved to D.C. and began working as an animator on the Vox.com video team. Then they found a home at The Washingon Post on the Snapchat team. Finally Mallory decided that they liked freelancing best of all, so they moved to Pittsburgh to do just that.
