Emily Watson is an award-winning filmmaker with a focus on social justice movements and labor organizing. She has a background in journalism, politics and advocacy, with experience writing, directing, producing and editing on a wide variety of stories and campaigns. From national messaging and media for labor unions to investigative video journalism and intimate profiles, her work is consistently dedicated to making tangible shifts in policy and public perception. Her videos have been cited in winning a civil rights lawsuit at a Missouri jail, flipping control of the Pennsylvania house, leading the Amazon Teamsters to a victory at the National Labor Relations Board and more.
