We're thrilled to announce the official launch of our Chicago hub, and we can't wait to bring together local documentary filmmakers, nonfiction video creatives and multimedia journalists for this exciting journey.

To get things rolling, we’re kicking things off with a happy hour at Side Practice Coffee in Lincoln Square — taking place Wednesday, July 16 from 6-9 PM CST.

There will be food and non-alcoholic beverages (BYOB), board games, local zines and many opportunities to network with local filmmakers and video storytellers. You'll have the chance to meet our team of organizers and give you a sneak peek into what we hope VC will contribute to Chicago’s vibrant local scene. Whether you're a seasoned creative or just starting out, there's something for everyone here.
