Stephen Bailey is a Jamaican-American director and cinematographer exploring the strength of the human spirit and stories that form our identities. He has explored the motives of Al-Shabaab terrorists in Somalia, captured the defiant beauty of Nigeriaâs underground LGBT scene and followed the artists behind the first âState of the Art '' exhibition at Crystal Bridges, the largest collection of North American Art in the world. Most recently, he directed on the Peacock series âShadowlandâ and short film series âThe Power of Travelâ featuring a Bajan activist for Marriott. His work as a director of photography includes HBO feature documentary âLegend of the Underground,â Netflixâ hybrid series âThe G Word,â and HBOSport Emmy-nominated series âLevel Playing Field.â
