Stephen Bailey is a Jamaican-American director and cinematographer exploring the strength of the human spirit and stories that form our identities. He has explored the motives of Al-Shabaab terrorists in Somalia, captured the defiant beauty of Nigeria’s underground LGBT scene and followed the artists behind the first “State of the Art '' exhibition at Crystal Bridges, the largest collection of North American Art in the world. Most recently, he directed on the Peacock series “Shadowland” and short film series “The Power of Travel” featuring a Bajan activist for Marriott. His work as a director of photography includes HBO feature documentary “Legend of the Underground,” Netflix’ hybrid series “The G Word,” and HBOSport Emmy-nominated series “Level Playing Field.”
