Director, Producer and Storyteller Ryen Williams — is the Founder and CEO of the media platform and creative community, Under Her Empire. ⁣ Ryen has experience of managing upwards of $10 million of revenue in productions for some of the world's leading organizations like Refinery29, Glossier, Bombas and L'Oreal. But, the one tract mindedness of brands capitalizing on culture and building meaningless campaigns led her to want to do more. In an effort to change her narrative, she founded Under Her Empire (UHE). The goal at UHE is to create socially impactful and culturally sustainable stories that amplify diverse voices — all while strengthening community.

The Video Consortium is a global nonprofit media organization that supports the world’s nonfiction filmmakers and video journalists to tell bold stories that change the world.
