Meru Sharma is an artist and filmmaker with an MFA in Social Documentation from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Their research interests and creative endeavors explore topics around transnational solidarity, transformative justice, and creative expression through film and digital media. She has gained significant knowledge within the nonfiction filmmaking industry by providing administrative and programmatic support for film festivals, documentary production companies, marketing departments, and artist fellowship programs. Meru is also a dedicated mentor and organizer with 4+ years of experience collaborating with different youth organizations.
