About

Martina de Alba is a documentary director/producer/editor based in Los Angeles. Though originally from Palma de Mallorca, Spain, Martina spent nine years in Barcelona where she pursued her BFA in graphic design and developed her love for video art. In 2008 she moved to New York City and worked as a video editor for VICE Media from 2010 to 2016. She also hosted VICE Does America, a political exploration docu-series on the VICELAND TV Network. After that she worked three years editing documentaries at The Front, a female based media company in Brooklyn. In 2018 She moved to Los Angeles to collaborate as a director/producer/editor at BESE, the media company founded by the actress Zoe Saldana. She’s worked on short documentaries for The New York Times, National Geographic, CBS, Vox Media, Spotify, Apple, Alldayeveryday, Droga5 and Refinery 29 among others. Now she finds herself editing documentary series for Disney +, Paramount +, and MSNBC News TV Networks.
