About

Jule Hermann is a documentary filmmaker born and raised in Berlin, Germany. After graduating from the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism in 2024, she decided to stay in the Bay Area and join its film community as a freelancer. She has shot, produced and edited all of her work in close collaboration with other filmmakers thus far. Jule tremendously enjoys creative collaboration and contributing visual elements to projects that have a great impact. Her skills with the camera and in the edit room are self-taught and enhanced through her formal education. She likes to jump into cold water and try new things. In her career and in life, she is a responsible, passionate and hard-working person who approaches people, issues and cultures with kindness and a curious, open mind.
