Ihshan Iqbal was born in Central Sri Lanka in a City called Kandy. He started working in Film Production in 2015. He has worked on numerous projects as an Assistant Director and as Fixer for Foreign Productions in Sri Lanka and Maldives, and has his own production company in the name of Kandy Road Productions. Ihshan has worked abroad in India, Indonesia, United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, Maldives and Tanzania on foreign projects. Ihshan has produced and directed corporate work for Sri Lankan Brands.

The Video Consortium is a global nonprofit media organization that supports the world’s nonfiction filmmakers and video journalists to tell bold stories that change the world.
