Carlos Medina is a chicano filmmaker based in Los Angeles with roots in Texas. He has over 20 years of experience in filmmaking from directing and shooting narratives, commercials, documentaries and music videos all across the globe. He is in constant drive to push the limits of cinema. Carlos has shot a handful of award-winning featured length films and series, yet also produces music and VJs under the moniker Funkycold.

The Video Consortium is a global nonprofit media organization that supports the world’s nonfiction filmmakers and video journalists to tell bold stories that change the world.
